The Lion King on Broadway

The story of The Lion King takes place in the Lands of Africa, where a lion rules over the other animals as king.  The main character in the story is Simba. Simba's father, King Mufasa, is the lion king. He rules the kingdom with kindness and wisdom. Mufasa's younger brother, Scar, realizes that he is no longer the heir to the throne and plots to kill Simba and Mufasa.  Get Lion King Tickets

I went to the Broadway play for my birthday and it was great!!!
Me likey Broadway, you should have seen all the people coming and going! I also definitely recommend the animated movie DVD.


This movie is great. The music, the colors, the action stays very interesting all the way till the end.  Warning: Most parents will have trouble with the way Disney set up the navigation so it's probably best to let the kids figure it out.  Grown-ups, just remember to breathe, close your eyes and try very hard not to throw the remote control.     The Lion King (Disney Special Platinum Edition)
