A few days of rest, recuperation, positive thinking and LuciaGirl suddenly feels the need to kick some Karate butt!
We went to visit her Tae Kwan Do instructors and the next thing I know Lucia's taking the belt test to graduate from orange to purple belt! She was practicing for it right before she went to the hospital and had to miss the graduation/test ceremony.
Okay...wait for it...Guards up, keep your eyes on your target...and she throws a sidekick and cracks the wooden board in two!!
Darn, this kid is cool!
To Lucia, I have been thinking about you alot. I so glad about your new belt color-purple. My husband at one time was a black belt. Keep up the good work. I am off all summer with very little to do. If your grandma needs any help. I am available. Please e-mail me. Love Diane Gross

Hi Lucia,
I was glad to hear from you. I didn't know that it was posted or I would have written sooner. I would like to see you this summer. Maybe I could take you to lunch or bring lunch to your house? Let me know when and where.
Do you need a good book to read this summer? I will bring you some.
Please e-mail me.
Love and Kisses,
Mrs. Gross

Hi Lucia, O Boy it's been raining alot. I am glad we didn't take this week to go on vacation. Did you know that I am a grandma? My daughter had a little boy who is thirteen month old. He just started to walk. His name is Colby Michael. It really great being a grandma. Maybe you can meet him this summer. I will be watching him the first week in August. What do you like to eat? Have you read the book Tales of Despereaux? I knew that your teachers this year were reading this book to the class. Did you find out what happened to the mouse? I hope I can see you this summer. Love Mrs. Gross
